1 day to go and we will say Bye Bye to the Year 2018. 

We are ready to welcome the brand New Year 2019 which is the last year of the Teen Age of this Century.

 The year 2019 will provide us the feel of a 19 year old youth who is happy in his/her own world,not bothered about the outer world. Doing the things for us that please us instead of others. It does not mean that a youth is not ready to shoulder the responsibilities, but he/she is ready to shoulder all responsibilities as per his/her choice and if situation warrants, then he/she applies his/her mind to tackle the situation in a beautiful way to achieve the best possible resolution of the problem.

So, we look forward to welcoming the New Year of 2019 with all hope that it will give an opportunity to live LIFE full of fun, enjoyment, happiness, health, prosperity, and health. We will lead a disciplined life and will devote our time to doing creative work beneficial for us and for the society as well. 

With this, we are ready to say "Bye Bye 2018 and Welcome Happy & Prosperous New Year 2019".

ZERO - WHAT VALUE STORED IN THE NUMBER

When we think of Zero, it comes to our mind that zero is a number having no value stored in it. Perhaps it may be true too when it is alone or placed at left with any number.

Now when we think of any number where zero is placed at the right, the number gets its value increased with ten times, hundred times, thousand times to million, billion, trillion times and so on. It also converts zero into some valuable number depending upon its position or placement,

  

Similar is the case with our feelings. When anybody calls us zero, we start thinking that we are useless and we have no importance in the life of others. This situation becomes worse when we develop such feelings for ourselves too. We start sinking.

At this stage, we have both sides open, either try and prove the people wrong who think of us as zero or prove them right.

Here we have to show our inner strength. The question comes in mind how ? Firstly, we have to identify our weaknesses. Why people are treating us as zero? Do they have no other creative work to be done instead of insulting us ? When we get the answer to our these questions, we get the solution. Now we accept our weakness(s) and we have to take a challenge to prove ourself. Once challenge is accepted internally, we start working on it. Hard work is the key to success. Our loved ones, our family, our friends irrespective of their age are the real motivators for us to achieve success. Success is the outcome of clear Goal, perseverance to achieve, and focussed labour. 

When the Goal is achieved with the help of  our determination, with the contribution of our beloved ones, every one stops calling us zero and starts calling us Hero. The journey of zero to hero is what we travel for ourselves.

So guys, have you ever gone through any such moment in your life where you have felt like this and have overcome by your taking the right decision at the right time and say that :

एक रुपए का महत्व

बचपन से सुनते आए हैं कि शुभ कार्यों में एक रुपया जरूर शामिल करना चाहिए। मेरे बचपन से लेकर आज तक मंगल कार्यों जैसे शुभ विवाह आदि में शगुन देने के लिए जो लिफाफे मिलते हैं, उनमें एक रुपए का सिक्का पहले से लगा होता है। आज तक एक रुपए के सिक्के की कमी  कभी देखने को नहीं मिली। अभी हाल में कई कार्यों जैसे कि नाती की गेंद, छोटे छोटे खिलौने, दीवाली की खरीदारी, गंगा मैया में स्नान के बाद बूढ़ी अम्मा से टीका लगवाने तक, जब एक रुपया अतिरिक्त लगा कर दिया तो इतना आशीर्वाद मिला जैसे अनगिनत खजाना मिल गया हो मुझे। ऐसा है महत्व एक रुपए का।

आइए शरद पूर्णिमा मनाएं

आज शरद पूर्णिमा है। बहुत सारे बधाई संदेश मिले। बचपन से सुनते आए हैं कि ऐसा माना जाता है कि आज अमृत की वर्षा होती है। रात में खीर बना कर खुले आसमान के नीचे रखी जाती है और दूसरे दिन उस खीर को घर के सभी सदस्य, मित्र, परिवार के अन्य सदस्य ग्रहण करते हैं। इस अवसर पर मुझे याद आ रहा है कि मेरे मम्मी पापा खुले आसमान के नीचे खीर को विशेष सावधानी के साथ रखते थे। अनेक उपाय करते थे जैसे कि खीर को छेद वाली चलनी से ढक कर रखना इत्यादि। आशय सिर्फ एक ही था कि उस खीर को किसी भी तरह से दूषित या अपवित्र ना होने देना। रात में कई कई बार उठ कर देखते थे कि खीर सुरक्षित है। आइए हम सब भी शरद पूर्णिमा का त्योहार  अमृत वाली खीर मना  कर करें, किन्तु ये भी ध्यान रखें कि खीर किसी भी तरह से दूषित या अपवित्र ना होने पाए। आप सभी को शरद पूर्णिमा की हार्दिक शुभ कामनाएं।

#TheBlindList- My blind date with Europe #SayYesToTheWorld

I love Travelling and I am always ready to Travel. I have visited many places within the country. Now I wished to visit other countries. Then came in my mind the European countries. I contacted my Travel Agent to make a trip plan for me and my wife, the details of which should not be shared with us as I wanted to go on a blind trip about which I knew nothing. I wished to explore the unexplored but with a challenge of Knowing nothing.

He assured me that for me it would be a blind trip. He would not give me any clue where I am going and what places I have to visit. Since I was curious to visit European Countries, he told me that he would prepare and plan but would not share with me. Everything would unfold as a surprise at all stages.

One fine morning, he called me that I alongwith my wife had to go to Delhi the very next day. I had no reservations, but he told me that I should be prepared with my luggage to stay for 2-3 days at Delhi and rest will be a surprise for me. The next day when I was ready with my luggage, A taxi picked us up for Delhi.

There we were surprised that stay arrangements have been made for us and next day we had to go for VISA formalities. After going through the VISA procedures, we were taken back to our home.

So journey for our blind date had started on a surprise note.

In between, we were getting surprises for foreign currency in cash and on Axis Centrum Card, a SIM to talk in the Foreign Countries, luggage and other usables to be carried for the Trip etc.

One day he told me that I should be ready with all the luggage etc. and he will call me within a week for next surprise. Each and every day in the next week passed with stress and anxiety on one hand and on the other hand, enjoyment and fun of uncertainty, when to proceed for our actual Blind date.

Finally, the D-day came and I found myself alongwith my wife at the International Airport of my own city boarding the Flight of OMAN AIR to MUSCAT reaching there with the Taxi sent by him and having Tickets for Muscat and Paris only.

After reaching Seeb International (MCT) Muscat Airport, we boarded the Flight for Paris and reached there at Charles De Gaulle International Airport (CDG) Paris.

At the Airport, we found a man carrying a Placard having my name. He left us Hotel MERCURE PARIS SAINT OUEN. Throughout the day, we had enjoyed a lot and our Blind Date has been opening slowly which I was sure is having much more excitement and thrill stored in the coming days.

Day 2: After relaxing overnight, we were ready to explore our day which was blind now. We received a call from the Reception that somebody is waiting for us. He told me to be ready within an hour and he will pick us up for the day tour. I asked him about the day trip but he smiled and said, Sir this isa surprise for you but I am sure you will definitely enjoy the day. He started our day for a panoramic City Tour of Paris and many places viz. THE ARC DE TRIOMPHE, THE CHAMPS ELYSEES, THE PLACE DE LA CONCORDE, THE NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL. Later we were at the Eiffel Tower and seeing the city through the Top of the Tower was fascinating giving a panoramic view of Paris. Then we found ourselves at a cruise on the SIENNE river. These boats are perfectly designed to discover and admire the rich architecture and other landmarks, palaces, and ornate bridges. In the late evening, we were surprised and we were again taken to Illuminating Eiffel Tower and the illumination of the city. Quickly came in our mind "An Evening in Paris".

Day 3: Our Next day was again a big surprise for us as we were heading towards a place I was not aware of. When the journey stopped, we found ourselves at Disneyland Park to unleash our childhood memories there. We immersed ourself in the never-ending, always fascinating world of movies and television. The visit of Disneyland Theme Parks, an enchanting kingdom filled with fun, fantasy and discovery formed before our eyes, a world of make-believe characters, shows and attractions. We also witnessed Shakespeare Play and Closing Ceremony Parade with all the Disney Characters displaying the Vibrant Colors, Friendliness with pleasant music, dance and smiling faces, which was not known to us but during the day, we could gather the information from the other Tourists there .

Day 4: we were asked to be ready to explore some very interesting place. So we started our journey from Paris to an unknown place for us, traveled through the well known French countryside, passing through breathtaking landscapes, with miles of flatland and vineyards, and the little French towns, noticed the discipline of European Highway driving.  We passed the countryside of Switzerland where we saw the loveliness of the alpine region with picturesque Swiss lakes, Swiss Chalets, farms, cows etc. Then we came to know during the journey that we are heading towards Switzerland bu the gentleman did not mention even we asked many times and found ourselves at Hotel Banana City at Winterthur.

Day 5: During the wake up call at the Hotel, we were asked to keep some hot clothes for us as we have to explore very exciting and fun filled day. After a journey of about 2 hours or so, we found  ourselves at the Engelberg - Mount Titlis where we were astonished by riding in the Rotary - World's 1st revolving cable car and visit Ice Grotto. We also shot our photos with the cut out of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol- as depicted in the Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge movie. The ride of Ice Flyer was more challenging as compared to closed Rotair as it was open and winds were hitting our face and body making a big challenge but were pleasurable and memorable and enjoyable.

Day 6: After exploring Switzerland, it was again time for surprise us as we did not know where we are heading towards. We were greeted at the famous SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL MUSEUM. Enjoyed the fascinating experience into the world of crystal and got a chance to see and buy the world famous original crystal ware and crystal jewelry at factory prices.

Day 7: After Austria, we were asked to be ready for some romanticism. After that, we were  at one of the most romantic cities in the world - VENICE. We visited the Venice Island by the "Vaporetto" or water bus to see THE ST. MARK'S SQUARE WITH THE BASILICA, DOGE'S PALACE, CAMPANILE AND THE BRIDGE OF SIGHS. This city is the most photographed place in the world and also known as the most romantic city. It is home to the famous lover - Casanova. We fed the pigeons in the massive square. Enjoyed the unforgettable Gondola ride through the smaller canals for a true picture of this lagoon city.

Afterward, we found ourselves at Florence to see the amazing masterpiece of the STAR OF DAVID by the Master Artiste - Michaelangelo.

Day 8 : Now we were asked to be ready to travel and found ourselves at Rome City where we saw 2000 year old COLOSSEUM - an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome known for its gladiator fight and the TREVI FOUNTAIN - where we tossed a coin and made a wish coming back to Rome. We were again surprised to be at the VATICAN CITY where in the museum we saw the masterpieces of art in the Sistine Chapel and ST. PETERS CHURCH.

Next, we found ourselves in the city of PISA where we visited THE LEANING TOWER.

Day 9 : These past few days had been stored big big surprises for us and we wished to have more surprises to come. Then the very next day came a very very big surprise to us when we were told that  we had to leave for back home.

We can definitely say that our blind date to the world tour has been very successful and enjoyable, full of fun, masti and new unforeseen challenges, making it an openminded date now. We can say with a confidence that if we wish to experience thrill, new challenges, explore the unexplored, ready to have surprises in our life that lead to self exploration with a chance of exploring the world, we must go for a blind date and then see how blind date is converted into a happy date, of course with your spouse.

FEW RELATIONS IN EARTH NEVER DIE

When a child is borne, she/he does not understand any language except that of love and care. The first interaction a child encounters with her/his Mother. So she/he starts developing First  relations with Mother and gradually other relations develop.

Mother is the First Friend of a child. Then as she/he grows in Life, relations too grow geometrically and now horizon is also big.

Apart from blood relations, a person develops relations outside the family and here comes a Best Friend type of feeling. Yes Friendship is a Feeling which can never die if your relations are True.

First Sunday in the month of August is Celebrated as Friendship Day.

आ अब लौट चलें

मुझे याद है आज भी वो जमाना जब हम छोटे थे और बाज़ार से कोई भी सामान लेने जाते थे तो एक कपड़े का थैला हमारे हाथ में होता था। कपड़े का थैला जरूरत के अनुसार छोटा या बड़ा होता था । ये सारे थैले मेरी मम्मी बड़े चाव से अपने हाथ से घर पर ही सिलती थीं । फिर धीरे धीरे हम बड़े होते गए और आधुनिक भी। कपड़े का थैला हाथ में ले जाने का फैशन खत्म सा हो गया या यूं कहें कि हम झिझकने लगे इसको घर से ले जाने में। फिर पॉलिथीन के थैले आने लगे और हम घर से खाली हाथ जाते और पॉलिथीन के थैलों में सामान ले कर घर लौटते। हमें ये एहसास ही ना था कि पॉलिथीन से हमें और समाज को कितना नुकसान पहुंचता है। अाइए इस नुकसान के एहसास को अपने अंदर जगाएं एवम् पॉलिथीन का प्रयोग बंद कर दें। आइए अब फिर से लौट चलें पुराने दिनों की ओर और अपने घर से कपड़े के थैले लेकर निकलें जब भी कोई सामान लेने जाएं। @विनय की कलम से

COMMUNICATION - A BIG CHALLENGE FOR A TODDLER

Every one wants interaction with each other. We interact with other people through language - spoken, written, our actions, language of love and care etc. 

What about a Toddler ?

A baby on First interaction uses the Action Weeping, then Crying, then Smiling. Touch is most preferable action of a baby as he/she wants to touch and feel every thing. A baby holds the things tightly with a very firm grip. 

Until a baby learns a language - speaking or writing, very beautifully uses other means of communication to show his/her understanding of the things.

A baby  conveys his / her Love, Care and Needs through various actions and until he /she makes us understand, never gives up.  A  toddler starts speaking with small words like Maa, Papa, Dadi, Baba, Nani, Nana, Bua to convey us that he/she has started realizing the various relationships in Life. Slowly starts recognising the colours, shapes and other objects around her/him. 

A toddler has a capacity of fast learning and imitates what the people around her/him do. Learning becomes fun for a toddler. 

When one is alone, books are best friend. Language is understandable if we have learnt reading, writing and speaking. But what about a toddler who has not yet learnt speaking, reading or writing. Pictures attract a child  more.
